My biggest disappointment of the episode was Maddie not getting to confront them or have like a moment with Nate and Cassie. But I do love seeing Nate being the one being scared this time because so much of the first two seasons, a lot of people were scared of him

I’m mostly disappointed that we basically only have an actual plot line for Rue and Nate which both is them owing someone money. Is previous seasons there was stuff going on with every character in different ways and it all tied together in the end

Honestly I think the reason Nate feels different this season is because Cassie is a white woman and white women tears are powerful. He can’t abuse her like he did with Maddie cause she is POC. He has to keep up appearances so of course he’s gonna cave to Cassie’s requests.

Hot take: Maddy really forgave Cassie and won’t be “plotting” as people think. She doesn’t care. She still had feeling especially during the dance scene. It got to her and she left. But surely, she feel like confronting Cassie/Nate. It’s over… it happens in real life.
