mercari is AWFUL!! i’m still waiting to be compensated for USPS losing my package. i filed a charge back with paypal and they gave it back within minutes

Mercari is awful for sellers and buyers as well. I myself received a knock off perfume once and they asked for proof. I contacted the perfume company that said they don’t validate their products. I ended up disputing the charge and never using mercari again. Glad u could atleast prove ur sale was real. But I wonder why they asked you instead of the buyer. Because as a buyer they asked me for proof it was fake.

what is do is i authenticate before posting. that way I avoid this issue. it cost $5 and takes around 24hrs or less. I highly recommend this. buyers are sleek and when item is "fake" they keep item and get reimbursed.
