of the acne is so bad nothing will work on it my son has acne and I tried everything from low end to high end nothing worked. I took him to the doctors and he is on oral medication even the doctors said nothing will work on acne if its bad other then prescribed medication

A Skin specialist told me to add oil I used castor oil and coconut oil to stop your own skin having to make more oil when you try to dry your skin to stop the spots , and it worked for me 😁 works better on wet skin as well

topical products help reduce redness, with acne it's hormonal you need to treat from the inside which means medication, don't use soap on your face and make sure you moisturise even if your skin is greasy use an oil based cream that will sit on your skin dont exfoliate your skin where acne is active you will irritate it and it will become worse your hands are enough to wash acne areas, 2 aspirin crushed and made into a paste with a little water rubbed on red active acne will calm the redness and soreness, ask your GP for erythromycin this is the first point of call with a topical cream but be warned the topical creams make skin thin and susceptible to sunburn so plenty suncream needed the GP will try all different creams and antibiotics before they will refer you to the dermatology department where the treatments get stronger and better and really do work!!!!! this is coming from someone who had acne front aged 10 when it started to aged 35 after having a really bad case of adult acne was then referred and got the real treatment my body needed, ps most teenagers grow out of it by 18-21 even younger it's a small minority that don't 🙌💯
