I’m a reporter for National Native News, and my boyfriend who’s a bartender, makes wayyyy more money than I do, because let’s face it, journalists and reporters don’t make crap.. but HE makes me feel like a celebrity. He constantly tells me how proud he is to walk beside me… and seeing people approach me, and love me as much as he does. He breathes life into me every single day. And I admit.. if I didn’t have his positive voice in my ear every day.. I would not be where I am today. This man saved me in every way possible. 😭😭 and he spoils me rotten.! There are good men out there!!

We need to stop normalizing not liking your spouse. Thank you for sharing your positive and loving example! My husband is truly my best friend. When we got married so many people would project their unhappy relationship on to us saying things like “oh just wait the honeymoon phase doesn’t last”
