I always say this but Venom need to have three phases to work. One where he is a demon and just mess with peoples mind, where Eddie is a stalker and seems terrifying even if he seems reasonable to innocent life and so the debate is what innocent life. His design must be gross and non natural, an uncanny valley of spiderman. Another phase where he stops being stalker but roams freely and is a really dark antihero, where he does what he want and can still be terryfing because you don’t understand truly the motives and you know that the symbiotes is a monster. And a finally a redemptive phase doing wonders with Eddie's faith where you have a real deconstruction on Eddie's trauma and Venom desire to seems more human. The man trying to be good again and the monster trying to be human. Venom should be --> horrific stalker ( his first comics until Savage genesis ) --> a lethal protector ( from lethal protector to Venom 2015 ) --> a redemption character ( Venom 2018 mostly and a bit of Venom 2021 ). So if you want scary Venom again it must be flashbacks or alternate universe and also they should get rid of Venom mj.
