I always use the fabric softener with water in the spray bottle, but I never thought about putting olive oil oil in it

This! Didn’t know about the olive oil though. Also years ago I saw a video of an older gentleman who made toupees. He refreshed them by using steam on them. Make them look brand new!

Sounds like a idea. Never thought of fabric softer to keep a wig smelling fresh. I would use distilled water. It has less stuff like floride, arsenic and lead. That's the water I use. I would also recommend Light Olive Oil. I'm thinking you'll have less oil build up between washing. I'm just getting back into wigs after wearing locs for 9 years. I would only wear wigs for my looks on here and cosplay. I'm looking for all the tips I can get for longer wear time.
