Wish I could talk faster so I could share more plants that have been tucked into my client Jaclyn's 4'x6' raised bed, including lettuce underplanted next to cherry tomatoes, kale near the cucumbers, Thai basil, green cabbage, Vietnamese coriander and more! Jaclyn shared with me a simple trick that she uses to grow mint in raised beds without it taking over. She plants it inside a container, then buries the whole pot in the soil. When it starts getting too big, she lifts the pot out, trims the mint back or removes it. Would you try this in your garden? Let me know.
