My only issue with Peter Drury is his overall game commentary. He is without doubt the best at climax moments like on goals, trophy lifting, record-breaking milestones, etc.. But when it comes to keeping up with the entire game, predicting/anticipating match moments, making bold calls, etc.., other commentators seem to edge him. It is for this reason that Jim Beglin has been his perfect cover because these areas aforementioned are the latter's exact strengths. He fills in the gaps perfectly well.
