I’m an old woman (75) I’ve lived aboard for years and I love it! Started with a 30 ft. sailboat, then a cruiser and now an old houseboat. If you’re interested I can send some pics. The 1st thing I will recommend is get a really good dehumidifier and run it 24/7.

When I was 11, my parents sold our 3 bed detached house and moved the 3 of us (me, mum and dad) onto a 60ft narrow boat. Imo it was the worst decision they could’ve made. I spent my teenage years with no privacy, in a tiny bed in a corridor.

3 years now living on our boat, have no regrets. yes you have to change some things. As for been cold in the winter we have never been cold on ours, it's like been on holiday everyday. Good luck with you're new adventure 🥰

We used to live on a boat. Bit longer than yours but same sort of set up… space is hard! I had my cloths in my boot and rotated them. And joined a gym just for the shower 😂 saved so much money though so it was Definetly worth it
