My love it’s perfectly OK. You will be the best mom to your little girl ever. I have two girls and two boys. I am not into hair and make up and clothes and all of that height stuff. Neither are my daughters. Our girls and sons for that matter follow what their parents do what they’re into what they enjoy if you’re not into hair and make up your daughter really won’t be either. Yeah she might come home you know say mom my friends are putting on makeup or my friends wear their hair like this, sir you know things like that so you figure it out. My daughter she just turned 15 not once has she ever come to me and said mom I want to wear make up all my friends are wearing make up. The one and only time she ever wore make up was when she graduated from grade 8. She just started high school this year and that was her school EA that wanted to do her make up for her. It wasn’t even my daughter‘s idea. She enjoyed it. She had one night where she got her hair and her makeup all done. I haven’t heard a word about it since she’s never expressed to me that oh Mom I think I wanna keep wearing make up or oh mom I wanna do this with my hair or what have you so if you don’t have a big interested in it don’t worry about it because your daughter‘s gonna see oh my mom doesn’t do makeup. My mom doesn’t do hair. Why do I need to and that’s OK and if she comes to a point where she wants to you guys will figure it out it’s not a big deal. Don’t worry about it. There’s too much pressure on our kids to look a certain way dress a certain way nobody ever said you have to wear make up nobody ever said oh you have to do this with your hair and if somebody says that to you, it’s not their choice. It’s your choice whether you do your hair or your make up or dress a certain way.Don’t worry about it.

Girl mom here! It’s the absolute best! Enjoy the journey! Play, laugh, have fun with her! My girls loved a simple day! Playgrounds, zoos and walks were their favs as babies! She’ll guide you as what she likes and doesn’t like as she gets older! As a baby mom, we loved baby yoga, little wiggle worms classes. I had to get out of my house for a little each day to keep my sanity!

Off topic but your house is gorgeous also you will do great girls bow to develop their own personalities. The best you can do is just support them if they wanna wear makeup just let them if you’re ready and you guys can learn together it’ll be a little bonding moment that doesn’t mean you have to wear makeup all the time you just know how to do it

Meh, I raised my baby girl with a girl puppy and they lived happily ever after…we go on adventures and find dead things and talk about science and she’s 16 now and still loves me haha you can dooooo it!! (Our pup passed away at 14.5 though and we miss her dearly)

If it makes you feel any better my mom wasn’t girly girl either and never braided my hair or did any cute girly hairstyles!! It was always just up in a pony tail or down lol. Funny enough, I turned out very girly girl 🥰

Don’t put so much pressure on yourself, lady! Don’t focus on raising a girl, or anything related to gender base stereotypes. Just focus on raising a good human being that can positively contribute to society. Someone who is kind and empathetic and cares about other people. That’s what we need more of in this world!

I was the exact same when we found we were having a girl. I’m not a girly girl and really never have been. I’ve always been tomboy-ish. Love dirt track racing and all the things. Our little girl is 3 weeks old and honestly couldn’t imagine it any other way. Her room is pink with all the bows and cute things, I think it is healing a side of myself that I never had and you definitely don’t have to raise her to be super girly either 🙂 your feelings are soooo valid
