Yep, I’m now stuck with gastroparesis forever, and I literally cannot fuel my body enough, like ever. It sucks to heal mentally but not physically. In my case, it’s complicated by an underlying disorder, but my ED created a perfect storm and I get so frustrated at my past self sometimes

I started drinking hot water with lemon and ginger each morning and its helped so much. I also take magnesium to calm my muscles.

10+ Years of struggling with Anorexia Nervosa Binge/Purge subtype. I’ve been in recovery for about 3 years now, and was partially hospitalized at one point, and I’m mostly okay now, but I still struggle with bloating, constipation, acid reflux, nausea, and loss of appetite. Additionally, my menstrual cycles still aren’t back to normal and are either very light and nonexistent now, or they’re very irregular.

gastroparesis person here!!! it’s hell to have the episodes where your body is rejecting everything you’re trying to put in. i wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemies. please eat yall! just enough to fuel your body at the least!!
