its a really good movie to say at least but imo the pacing could have been better, it was rlly shallow for me like in a blink of an eye you're on a next scene. it's really sad that we never get to see the og version due to some legal constraints but hey at least we're getting a second part (hence the his storh continues) so im hoping it might dig deeper and maybe a potential director's cut in the nearby future! jaafar's acting debut is insane and i hope we get to see him more in future films!

I really loved your take on this, also wowwww? I did not know the movie was planned to start with the neverland strip search scene, that would have definitely been something to see. The last scene as well that you mentioned, with his hands over his face during Bad, that leaves it up to the interpretation which I think was a pretty good choice.

It’s not really the film teams fault legal reasons got in the way and the production had to do a lot of reshoot and re-editing because of so many factors of outsiders sources. Just look at the Dianna Ross material being stopped just because her team decided last minute after it had already been filmed. Hence why I think it was smart they ended in the 80s to give them time to hopefully iron out legal things and possibly give us that opening strip search for the sequel.
