Went to trade school for hvac. Dean’s list, president’s list, top of my class, the whole 9. Was told I would be coming out as a journeyman and making $30+ right off the bat. First interview I had quickly learned I was finessed by my school.

Its HVAC you do not stop learning. you could be 5,10,25 years in the trade. Always something new so if this is too much then buckle up 🤣🤣

I got into hard labor work early, and before I even turned 20, I could already see how easy it is to get trapped in a cycle of working harder every year without ever really getting ahead. That realization stayed with me. While everyone around me accepted it as normal, I started spending my nights learning how people were building real income online with nothing but consistency and a phone. What began as late-night research slowly turned into something far bigger than I imagined, eventually bringing in over $550k within 8 months. Looking back now, it’s wild how a single shift in mindset changed everything for me.

I went HVAC and left after two years. was not for me for a lot of reasons. but here are a few things I learned. if you get the chance go commercial or union over residential. or if you have to do residential go for a company that does exclusively new con. much easier to fix/less customer interaction, plus most of the stuff is in warrenty so you don't have angry customers upset they are paying out of pocket. and some of those companies have separate positions for start and checks vs service, and start and checks is super easy. try not to spend too much on tools until you get to the company and see what everyone else is using. trade school I went to gave terrible tool recs. good luck

That it’s a waste of time. You learn on the job but I wouldn’t take away from your experience just coming from someone that has went along the same journey as you. Stay resilient and learn and ask as many questions as you can. The money will come but knowledge is power.
