Idealizing a character is perfectly fine because they don't exist in reality. It's not like with a real person who, if you idealize them too much, can be hurtful because they're not like that, or who might feel bad because their traumas aren't acknowledged. Stop messing around. People can idealize a character and keep in mind that in the canon they're not like that, and that's totally normal

I'm so glad I was able to truly capture his personality in my own RPs. It's actually quite simple if you know his entire story and the reasons why he will not act one way or another. Or those cases where he simply can't act in a certain way, simply because. And by the way, it's strange that everyone collectively decided that he doesn't know how to love. No. He knows how and he can. He had a family and relatives. Of course, it's more difficult with him, and he trusts... after a long time. But he knows how to care for and love, because he did it in the past with his family.
