Rice cakes are technically complex carbs, but because they’re puffed at high heat, the starch becomes very easy to digest, so they act like fast carbs and spike blood sugar quickly. Adding peanut butter (like in the video) helps slow digestion and reduces that spike, so that’s actually a smart combo

I think people forget average people need around 1,200 to 3000 calories in a day, of course it varies depending on sex, age and activity. 185 per 100g, or whatever it was, isn’t that much as long as it’s not just empty calories. Besides, a snack once in a while is fine. Food is for everyone to enjoy as long as it’s eaten in good moderation.
