My favourite rationalisation is that most pilots and cabin crew survive a career of flying probably thousands of times. They’re not known as dangerous jobs. They want to land safely too.

Another things is that flying is literally the crews job. Do you think they would fly if it wasn’t safe? Statistically they are at a higher risk due to the frequency of being on a plane yet they are still doing it. And it’s often mundane for them. Top tip, if you watch them through turbulence they are so calm. They have been there done that. Just enjoy the wobbly ride :)
