Why is everyone so against saniderm/tegaderm in these comments??? “Ivhave 15+ tattoos and ive never used it” okay???? Do you want a gold star?? I will always use it. Not having to worry about it getting dirty for 3-5 days?? Especially on my back piece? Yes please. Not using it doesnt make you cooler than the peope who do use it

It’s kinda funny how everyone in the comments wants to lecture a professional tattoo artist. Every artist is different, so of course some say leave it on for a few hours. And with him it’s 3 to 5 days

I think it's interesting how all artists have different recommendations for aftercare. I was told to wear the second skin just until I got home then I could take it off for all three of mine.

I never once have and will never cover my tattoos no matter how fresh. The fresher it is the easier it’ll get infected and letting all that bacteria build up and sit in there is your main issue. If you wash it with non scented soap and use something to keep it moisturized for at least a couple weeks it’ll turn out a lot better and clean looking
