What about my butt? The seats are so thin/unpadded these days that my bum always hurts

I use my fanny pack to put my legs in leg jail. Tighten the strap and then I also have easy access to all the stuff on my pack.

Wearing an SI belt on flights has no joke genuinely changed my life. I don’t have debilitating hip pain while flying anymore.

Just as a health and safety thing, the band around the knees is good but I would reccomend a elastic support belt with velcro just for ease or removal incase of an emergency.

I don’t have pain in car seats (unless it’s like 8+ hours), but I have pain in airplane seats immediately. For the love of god I wish they just made the seats bigger and better — and stop pitching them forward !

This is hard to explain… but I bring a scarf that I tied into a circle, fold in half, and wrap it behind my neck so I have two circles in front of me and then put my forearms in the circles. It helps with my shoulder issues and subluxations so much

I find that the seat pushes my neck forward and my shoulders hunch causing me significant upper back and neck pain, the travel pillows push my neck forward even more, any suggestions?

I always bring my heating pad on the plane to use on my low back or hips.

We just need to be rich enough to fly first class! Long flights are brutal. We need to do a lottery pool!

I did a 13 and a half hour flight to Japan a few weeks ago and brought a foldable foot stool for the flight and it made SUCH a difference for seat comfort since I normally sleep or relax with my feet up. would highly recommend

my own hack that I suggest to others who also have temperature regulation issues and end up super sweaty by the time they’re in their seat…….usb desk fan. mine is about the size of my hand and weighs nothing. just plug it right into your seatback

my bum always hurts immediately, so I got a gel seat pillow and I will never travel without it again. I'm Australian so extremely well-versed with longhaul flights 🫠
