Did your parents ever explain what was going through their heads when they made up all these rules? A lot of the rules my parents had I chalked up to them being relatively young when they had us and not having much guidance from their own parents

I mean same rules elsewhere...apart from the home made stuff...I don't see any problem apart from the no graphic T's...that's an odd part.
