@sacramentourbanmedia916: A woman in New York is facing decades behind bars after being convicted in a shocking case involving explosives and a brutal attack on her boyfriend. 35-year-old #KeyonnaWaddell was found guilty Friday on charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon, nearly two years after a heated argument with her boyfriend escalated into a violent explosion. According to Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office District Attorney Raymond Tierney, the incident began on March 22, 2024, when the couple argued at the man’s apartment. After being told to leave, both individuals exited the residence, but the victim later returned home believing he was alone. That wasn’t the case. While sleeping, the man was awakened by a strange hissing noise and noticed flames inside his bedroom. As he moved closer, he discovered a lit stick of dynamite. In a desperate attempt to prevent disaster, he tried to put it out, then grabbed the explosive intending to throw it outside—but it detonated before he could act. The blast caused catastrophic injuries. Authorities say the victim immediately realized his hand had been blown off. He managed to escape outside, where he reportedly saw Waddell running away from the scene. Investigators later revealed that she had allegedly threatened him with dynamite multiple times in the months leading up to the attack. The victim underwent emergency surgery, resulting in the loss of his hand and part of his arm. Waddell was arrested the following day. She now faces a potential sentence of up to 25 years in prison, with sentencing scheduled for May 27.#fyp #viral
