It's entirely jk Rowlings fault no one understands her character. Most of the book is set from Harry's perspective and it depicts her as a prize to be won by Harry. She was so much more than that. Her grief was never taken into account and her crying and mourning was treated as stupid and unreasonable.

I think it’s because of how Harry’s perspective framed her- he was struggling and couldn’t see past it, same as Cho 😭 if her struggles were written from her perspective, Harry would look like the insensitive one
