@sbiery: I was trying to work through to what I’m most hurting from. Whatever I thought of him before, knowing who he is now I wouldn’t choose that partnership for myself. So while I’m grieving the man I thought he was, I can understand that I don’t want to be married to who he really is. And in that thought process, it hit me. I’m devastated to be losing the family I worked so hard to build. I dedicated myself to my family. I worked hard to give my kids structure, support, fun, and the most loving household I could imagine. And I brought my husband along so my kids could see a true partnership and strong marriage. And while I was doing all of that, he was betraying us behind my back. Was I a perfect wife? No. I take responsibility for my half of our marriage. But whatever I needed, I came to him to discuss. And I kept working harder. I will never understand how a parent can jeopardize their family structure for selfishness. And the deepest cut is that the family I worked so hard for, the person who was supposed to protect it ended up destroying it. #betrayal #cheating #divorce #affair #brokenfamily
