I realized especially for the ones who stayed with their abuser admitting your experience abuse would be confronting a reality they may not be prepared to accept. Especially when the feel they wasted their lives or that they exposed their children or failed to protect them.

Mel I need your opinion on this: ladies of London, Mark-Francis came at Margot with sexy villain energy and touched her arm. She recoiled in disgust (ppl saying bc he’s gay, but to me it looks bc he was being sexual and the non-consensual touch) and he ran away (imo bc he knew he had crossed a line). She then had a panic attack and Mark, the show, the group of women and public proceeded to gaslight her by calling her post partum. I was really triggered by this and found his behaviour sexually violent. I was also appalled by the instant turning on this woman as she broke down, for being an attention whore, too American, a woman who can’t take a joke, a homophobic woman, a hormonal woman. Watching the narrative and public reaction has me feeling gaslit too. It’s also making me feel like we can’t have men on this show. First season not over before a man makes things sexually icky. What do you see?
