I completely understand you. Batteries are more practical. But most brands do not offer them anymore. I have profound hearing loss (l 88%, r 70%) and my Phonak Audeo infinio last the full day. I have also a charger with a power bank integrated.

My mom’s rechargeable hearing aids case recharges them too. So theoretically she could recharge half way through the day if she needed. (And she brought the case). It’s like air pods etc. that said while they recharge they are out of her ears. It works for her life. They are new and she is still getting used to wearing them all the time.

i have moderate to severe hearing loss with rechargeable hearing aids and my charge only lasts for 12 hours! i think that’s kind of standard among the rechargeable ones unfortunately

hi Katie🦻around 5yrs ago I tried rechargeable hearing aids,the problem being was because I have a profound loss the charge did not last the whole day and they were not powerful enough,so I now have the oticon exceed 2 UP hearing aids with the large 375 batteries so like you my aids are bigger so the battery fits! I am jealous of you I so like the colour of your hearing aids they look cute in your ears! here in the UK where we get our aids for free only children get coloured earmolds! but I saw on the news today in the autumn the NHS(our health service) is going to trial giving profoundly deaf people two cochlear implants and not one,you only get two if your under 18 or have sight issues too! ❤️🥰❤️🦻🦻🌺🌺

Answering the question myself- I have moderate hearing loss and the highest power rechargable hearing aids last 11 hours without Bluetooth, about 8 with normal and they often die. But with that in mind, I can check the battery level and would often forget replacement batteries when I had other ones so this works well for me for every day stuff, travel is annoying bc mine dont have the extra travel feature bc the NHS doesn’t provide it but I can make it work :). It’s mostly personal preference and battery size- they’re working on rechargable hearing aids for severe to profound yet but as far as I know they’re not out yet or at least not on the NHS.
