is it more difficult to represent ancient written chinese using a standard keyboard than other ancient langauges which were written using alphabets or other non-logographic writing systems? i would imagine that the earliest written forms of chinese are just as different orthographically from modern chinese dialects as ancient greek is from its modern counterpart or sanskrit is from hindi, but to my knowledge a lot of that orthographic change is the result of spelling differences within the same or a very similar script. in contrast, it seems that for chinese to change orthographically, there would have to be changes in the characters themselves, since a change in which characters were used to represent a word would seem more like a morphological change than an orthographic change in this context. this would lead me to believe that the character inventory of ancient chinese is likely more distinct from the character inventory of modern chinese than the character inventory of ancient greek is from modern greek. is this intuition way off, or did ancient chinese have lots of characters that simply don’t exist anymore or have changed substantially enough that they don’t map cleanly to a character that could be typed using a modern keyboard?

You only said half of the first line but gave the meaning for the full line.
The verse's first line is कालोऽत्थस्म लोकक्षयकृ त्प्रवृद्धो लोकान्समाहतजशवमह प्रवृत्तः । (kAloasmi lokakShayakRtpravRddho lokAnsamAhartumiha pravRttaH)
which is the first half of the verse, that means "I am mighty kāla(time), the force of destruction that comes forth to annihilate all the worlds."

would Jesus not have spoken in Aramaic, Hebrew or (less likely) Latin? I know ancient greek was also known as his area back then... language is so fascinating

Can you recommend sources to look up ancient chinese characters pronunciation? I only know about Pulleyblank, but he only covers Song-Yuan dynasties, not ancient reconstractions

σεαυτόν as seavton? I'm not sure they would have dropped the diphthong in the first century CE
