For anyone wanting a fantastic, but more affordable alternative, try the shark glam/flexstyle I got lucky and got one on sale for $150. At normal price ($450) it’s still cheaper than Dyson. It is slightly louder, and you switch barrels to switch curl direction, but you can also twist the shark and use it at an angle without exhausting your arms. You also get a straightener attachment if you get the glam version.
