This is what happens when a state legislature enacts massive tort reform that big-time protects doctors and makes it very difficult to sue. MS has capped damages at a very low amount, which means it’s very difficult to even find a law firm to take a case (med mal cases are very expensive for law firm’s to prosecute). Doctors know that they rarely have to worry about being sued in MS so the quality of care has gone way down.

She told me and my daughter at the E.R. back in January that her appendix was severely inflamed and tried to send her home. however the E.R. doctor at the time suggested my daughter be kept but wenzle stated she just needed antibiotics and it will clear up that she didn't need a surgery. my daughter stayed one night at the hospital. she was released the next day. my daughter was still doubled over in pain and crying when she got home, I told my husband something isn't right I'm sending her to USA.. was sent to USA same day released from George County Hospital, they immediately at USA admitted my daughter and preformed an emergency appendectomy, said if she would have waited 24 more hours that her appendix would have ruptured regardless of treatment from antibiotics.
