I think you would have to require cameras mounted to the robot only in order for it to symbolize a kind of fairness. As is, it is kind of like playing against a robot with 10 arms. Still cool though.

I was a ping-pong champ in college. I even beat the state champion once. the only person who consistently beat me was also a tennis champ, and he did it using his left hand. (he was right handed). His only strategy was defense. This made me think of him!
