why would I pay it all off, I still need my credit utilization at a certain point. At least leaving like pocket change like $20-$30 dollars is good no?

I agree to treat it like a debit card, but in my opinion you can treat 9% of that credit card as yours too. However in order to do this you HAVE to pay your statement balance from the last month in full. Doing that already pays off the minimum payment and so you just have to make sure it is 9-1% used by the day before the statement day.
