Step 2: Making the chocolate ganache. Again, very easy and not messy at all. You melt the chocolate provided and mix it with heavy whipping cream that you provide. The problem is the instructions don’t clearly tell you the ganache also needs to sit for two hours unless you watch the full video. That delayed me badly and probably affected how smooth my chocolate turned out. Still got the job done though. Step 2 rating: 9/10. Overall rating: 8.5/10. Would I recommend this kit? Heck yes. I don’t think it’s worth nearly $100, but I do think it’s a really fun and creative experience if you’re into baking or hyper-realistic cakes.
