@nuernherkeep: The long awaited (24 hrs) stepping stone reveal (kind of 😅) I love how they are turning out but I will keep you updated once they land in their forever home #steppingstones #reveal #update #garden #DIY
as someone that has done something similar, avoid stepping on them once placed where you want them for at least a week. that way, they can fully cure and become even more solid. they look amazing 💜💜💜

You did a great job. I don’t have any stones like that. I’ll need to buy some. Making garden items for my yard has become an o session. You can find so many things to use as molds.

If you leave them in those plastic trays, it’ll take longer to dry. I would take them out turn them upside down and let them sit for another 48 hours. Also if you’re gonna use them to actually walk on, they should be thicker than that or they will crack because the placement of those stones in your mold those are your weak spots cause that’s where there’s less concrete

I love the fact that they didn’t come out perfect and you’re not pretending everything is perfect on the first round. Thank you for sharing.

Maybe you should leave them upside down out of the mold. I think they’d dry faster

You did good, little girl. I would add a metal mesh to add strength and won’t break.
