i like how demo5+rewrite makes the player react realistically to people dying and or witnessing people’s lives being ruined just to follow it up with a cute little success animation. it’s jarring in a good way

I only started playing after the rewrite, tho I mostly like it so far. I like how realistically the player's emotions feel, especially in the ghost walker sword. from the few clips I've seen, the previous catalyst that summoned greed was a pile of tix, which isn't exactly bad, but it just feels a lot more realistic for it to be the time travel device since it has a more personal connection to the player's story. I can say that I hate the hatred fight, though. apparently it was easier before. which is a shame because I still haven't beaten it and because of that I'm taking a long break bcuz of how annoyed I was getting at being unable to beat it 💀
