Grid heater nut in the 6.7 will melt off and fall into the intake. land in cylinder 6. Either delete the grid heater or get a Banks intake.

I have a Cummins Ive got 500k miles on and it’s still running fine. Service and preventative maintenance will make these trucks run however long you have it. Don’t listen to haters.

I work on a ton of these 6.7 Cummins 2 things I’d do to it are grid heater delete and a coolant reroute to 6th cylinder every Cummins that I’ve rebuilt have failed on the 6th cylinder and a lot of them fail about 450-500k but if they are actually taken care of they will go to 600k

depending on maintenance is the big key the 6.7 is known to be good for 300k-500k miles with some with top notch maintenance going for 1 mill

That truck is still a baby. It’s just getting broken in. Trust me I’ve own diesel in my entire life. Cummins is one of the best if not the best diesel motor out there.

Your better off doing some research on YouTube a lot of ppl have preference and their gonna complain whenever it’s not their favorite truck i’d say if you wanna mod get a fleece cheetah vgt turbo so you still have your exhaust brake and wakes the truck up a bit
