My father died and me and my sister would get money every month from it. EVERY MONTH I knew she would have an excuse as to why she needs to take half or all of it. We got 200 dollars a month and that was my only money to do my hair or buy anything for myself because she didn’t do it anymore. When the money stopped coming in, she was happy about it. She told me “I’m glad it’s ending. you don’t ever want to give me any money anyways.” So I had to get a job. My first paycheck came and she was excited. I got asked for money every pay day. I was responsible for my phone bill, my daily expenses, my hair, everything. To be honest, my mom is a single mother so I understand her needing help. I never got the chance to help willingly. I was FORCED everytime. So of course, I don’t want to help you. As a result, I spend money as soon as I get it. I am in debt due to my mom forcing me to go to college when she knew she wasn’t financially stable so I had to take out student loans. She told me she’s not helping me pay it. I moved out of the state and I haven’t been back since.

Had toast for dinner because apparently £60 a week doesn’t include food anymore.. (I sleep on a top bunk, am never here when my bf is home from uni, put most of my wage into a lifetime isa for a mortgage and it’s my fault that the £200 I put into my lifetime isa/investments is my fault even tho they literally said when I was younger that the only reason they’ll take rent is for ensuring I’m not wasting it on stuff I don’t need)

Just found out my mother who claimed to be holding onto money for me for moving out, spent it all, including money I sent to her to get an item out of loan. Im sobbing fr like why lie to my face. She literally would get mad and yell and guilt me if I spent on myself but was spending it as soon as I sent it to her, so she spent it on top of what I was paying her for rent
