Being that you care for her in the home and the home is clean, you keep doing what works for you. The bed roll is a great idea and works so much easier. I can tell you, the ones that say they bedroll in a nursing home setting are doing the exact same thing you are. I cared for my mother and father-in-law at home. I've been a CNA, HHA, DCW and private care supervisor for a combined 32 years. You do what works for you and your mother.

Make sure your bed is waist height to protect injury to your back ❤️also you can do the bed rolls with tucking everything under seperately if that works better for you , just because it seems that the sheet rolls off a lot more with the other stuff. Great work tho ❤️

Extra tip instead of a rolling it, fold it like an accordion.That way, it'll be easier once you get it on the bed.It'll be less bulky, and also it's easier to get it from underneath the person

29 years of nursing we used to do everything right on the bed. Using what we could to try to keep clean linens clean and not touch dirty linens. You did great here though. This was a task that was important to know.
