Locked in hard to schooling and working, and they hated I bought a house. Acted like I treated them all poorly, saying these things on my couch. I live alone, and for the longest time? I remember being 19, watching them laugh it up on my couch, on my television. Sometimes I sleep on that couch and remember when we’d all get together after midterms or finals. Now, again, I live alone. I don’t talk to them anymore, and when I cook, I cook far less than I used to. I miss them, but they resented me for success. Hard work I did for all of us. I miss them.

People in the comments need to realize that you don’t have to personally hang out with people constantly to be friends. Don’t cut people off unless they are harming you emotionally or physically. Simply be honest. Say you don’t want to hang out, tell them how you feel. If they make you feel bad for that then they never wanted you as a friend, just as background noise. Talk to people online if you need to. Hell, even add me if you need somebody to talk to that badly. It’s great practice for making friends around you in day to day life. Communication and understanding is key to every friendship ever. It may not seem like it, but it is what causes the difference between a friendship that will last until next week and a friendship that will last a lifetime.
