HILTI reps can see immediately if you use lube or not. I use the TE-1000/3000 exclusively and use lube. HILTI gives it to us, why not use it?

It's a hassle switching bits and getting sand in the grease or dust, i have and will never again

Never been an issue on any sds plus machine had most brands hitachi/ Milwaukee / Makita / de Walt / Bosch all fine but now for the big boys K hex type of boys a little lube never harmed anyone

It lasts a lot less with grease because it starts collecting dust. Like my Hiltis chuck lasted 7 years without grease and under 3 with grease.

too much. just a pea sized drop at the end of the drill bit is enough

I've had the same tube of grease for around 10 years, don't use the grease or hammer drill often, but do use it when the bits start coming out dry

the problem is that its black. so every time you switch bits everything gets stained and gross. so as a sparky working with white everything, this is a no go.
