Just coming to terms with this fact myself. I actually had to re-evaluate how I was treating my sister, better said, how I was allowing her to treat me. No one knows her pain better than I do. But I don’t have to give up myself to be caring. Giving up self feels bad. Now, I do what I can. (and, frankly, I’m still a good sister😁)
