@sarahdaytravel: Going into hiding once I post this because I know the Disney fans gonna hunt me down but guys I just didn’t catch the Orlando bug… Absolutely loved the four parks we did but honestly I can’t imagine going here for two weeks… Fully aware Florida is just enormous and there are so pretty beautiful places along the coast but the theme park type holiday it’s just not for me… I’m more of a tropical beach, Italian coastline vibe kinda girl 🫶 #orlando #usa🇺🇸 #travelblogger #familytraveltips #devonmum
It’s definitely not £100 for a takeaway meal. I go a lot.

We can’t stay for less than 3 weeks at Disney/universal as it’s not enough time. I don’t think you are fully immersing yourself if you are finding 4 days in the park is enough. There are so many hidden details you will be missing, you have to strategise. We come yearly and still need to get back the next year. Maybe just not your place but it’s definitely my home :)

Not coming for you. Each to their own. However we are proper foodies and you can get amazing food. You just need to know where to look and £££😂

I've just returned from my 1st trip there 2 weeks on Disney and Universal. We loved the holiday but im with you on the food. We did expensive restaurants, middle ground, and Fast food. The food was not great at all and super salty

Orlando and anywhere else in the world are miles apart when it comes to holidaying. They can’t be compared. And it’s like marmite

Honestly we just went for our honeymoon, And Disney is what I’m missing more than universal, like don’t get me wrong i do miss universal but Disney is what is so magical!! We stayed on universal property, but when we go back will definitely stay on Disney property and make the most of the Disney dining plan!

It's totally subjective. Some people don't wanna go to Thailand? People can spend their money how they wanna spend it 🤷🏻♀️

I go but limit eating out in restaurants and theme parks. My kids just wanna go Wendy’s and chilli’s and fast food places so it’s a bit cheaper. I steer clear of drinking cause they charge an arm and a lleg. You can do it cheaper if you want

I like orlando but I agree we stayed for a week and 2 park days was more than enough for us. also it was expensive 100 dollars and we got 5 pretzels and 5 drinks... in the park. we did some nice places to eat but you have to hunt them down and not surrounding the park. we stayed ina. villa about 20 mins drive away so some more choice.
we have done disney but the kids weren't interested this time hence 2 days at universal.
we would go again as the reat of the family love it and there some other places like space centre and horse riding would like yo do again rather than the parks

I’ve been in the past and I did enjoy it as I love Disney but going back year after year .. I don’t get it and now it’s so expensive. The US in general is ridiculous now for eating out with the tipping etc . Would rather go anywhere else . ( especially with the current political situation)

I’m here now for the 4th time. I love volcano bay and discovery cove is a beautiful day out too! I’m not a sit on a beach /sit still person. I need stimulating and it’s definitely a full on type holiday! ❤️

Adventures with Austin :
Personally for me I love it there but it’s taken the best part of 5/6 times of going over the last 10 years to know where to save money and what restaurants to go to. Avoid eating in the parks as much as possible and those chains you mentioned aren’t the best. I stay international drive - free breakfast at the hotel, cheap uber in to the park. We eat at restaurants on int drive like millers which are cheaper than the uk. Meal and drinks for 3 of us are about £50 there, it’s very reasonable. You can’t avoid paying for the park tickets or paying the prices in the park but you can save money everywhere else and have a good time.
