i have type 2 rosacea too. azelaic acid is a must to maintain my skin. from my experience, the more simple your skincare routine is the better.

I took my husband to the derm for his psoriasis, i wish i had done it years ago because that doc knew straight away & told him what was the cause & has cleared years of issues within 1 month. Hands down, just pay a derm they are worth it!!

Do you use eye lash serum? Because your lash line looks really irritated. This happened to me too, switch to one without prostaglandins.

I just went to the gp yesterday for an unrelated issue, and he picked up on my rosacea and gave me soolantra without asking for it. My rosacea is already calmer with 2 applications 🤯

What did the derm recommend you use? I have type 2 rosacea and my dermatologist prescribed me soolantra but it’s not completely gone

To anyone still struggling with rosacea. Remember that it cannot be cured, it can only be managed. If you have tried all creams and pills, you need to check for triggers. UV exposure is #1 for most. If this is your trigger, it can take up to 3 days to show, which is why it’s difficult to connect the dots. spf 50 will not help alone, you NEED to wear a hat (not a cap) when UV is above 2 🥹
