A ps4 controller can connect to a computer through either a cord or Bluetooth. You'll have to change the game settings though, since hoyo hasn't figured out how to automatically change input devices without glitches

yeahhh unfortunately this happened a while ago 😭 If you have a PC i’m pretty sure you can use your controller, you just have to ensure that the inputs are right and be prepared for the movement to feel weird.

Genshin Impact had discontinued on PS4 due to hardware and file size. They announced it last year. Genshin now has fully shifted to PS5. On mobile, PC, PS5, and Xbox, it still works. I play on PS5 now after getting one for Christmas. The only reason I got a PS4 was for Genshin and played on it for a few years. It had a great run. Genshin is the reason why I got back onto PlayStation. Even was the first game I downloaded on both PS4/5. Genshin is my comfort game.
