![The most unique experience I had in Japan was at the @gionaya AYA Maiko & Geisha Makeover Experience in Kyoto. It was a fun and insightful hands on look into Japanese culture and something I would definitely implore you to look into! For only about $100 you can have a full makeover and photoshoot in traditional Japanese clothing and Geisha or Maiko (which is a Geisha apprentice). The people who work there are super kind, friendly and professional. As a black woman, I was a bit nervous to try this, but omg they really knew how to make me and my friend @Alexis feel comfortable in this experience.
