So, major cluster fuck… Back in hospital. I desperately wanted to avoid coming here. I desperately wanted to avoid being on any meds, specifically antibiotics as I know how dangerous they are for your gut health. But I had completely lost control of my health, I was covered in infection which left me with a fever and heading for sepsis. I know everyone in this community has a strong opinion on what you should and shouldn’t do during TSW. I respect and value everyone’s stories but dropping into my messages telling me “I’ve made a mistake and that I’m not to trust doctors and pharmaceuticals” is not helpful. Ultimately antibiotics are there for emergencies, this was an emergency. Moving on from that, this year has been a total cluster fuck health wise. Last year so much progress was made on this healing journey and I’m sure that a combination of an anti inflammatory diet, NMT, staying well hydrated, sitting in the sun, fitness, focusing on mindfulness whilst taking time away from work & the stresses of life, all contributed to me looking and feeling much better. Most of 2025 I have been on my knees with bad health but if i’m honest I haven’t looked after myself as well as I could have done. So moving forward it’s back to putting me first. Mind & Body. Healing my gut, healing my skin and getting my life back on track. So much of this journey has been about setting boundaries and where I’ve come so far with learning how to say no to those around me. Telling myself no has been a greater challenge. Posting these videos is never easy. Publicly sharing vulnerabilities is brutal. But I take liberation in trying to hold myself accountable for the parts of this condition that are controllable. Healing is possible. The love and support from those around me has been priceless.
