@hi.lsg: Seeing Mac DeMarco transition into this new chapter is genuinely the most inspiring thing for the indie community right now. For years, we’ve watched him embody the ultimate "slacker" persona, but witnessing his recent evolution toward clarity and peace is a powerful reminder that growth is the coolest thing you can do. When Mac says, "It's not about being straight, it's about being free," he’s speaking to a deeper kind of liberation—stripping away the vices to actually experience the world raw. His 2025 album Guitar perfectly captures this vibe, offering a stripped-back, acoustic journey that feels like a deep breath after a long night. As he navigates his massive 2026 world tour, including those legendary upcoming stops at the O2 Academy Brixton and the Hollywood Bowl, it’s clear he’s found a new kind of energy. He’s choosing smaller, more intimate venues because he’s chasing a real connection rather than just the hype. Mac is proving that you don't have to stay stuck in old versions of yourself just to please the crowd. Watching him "downsize in a tasteful way" while remaining a total legend is the ultimate motivation to prioritize your own well-being. Keep vibing and stay free, just like Mac. 🎸🚐🍃✨🕊️ #macdemarco #macsrecordlabel #fiveeasyhotdogs #saladdressing #thisolddog
