All I can say aboyt dimimpaction is just try and just go with the flow (excuse the pun😅) It can feel overwhelming, but it'll really help!

We saw a private bowel specialist as my son couldn’t tolerate the liquid medication (restricted diet too!) so we were given tablets. It was awful to see him uncomfortable but we’re 18 months on now and he’s improved so much! He still takes a daily laxative and we’re in a routine where he sits on toilet every evening with iPad to ensure he goes daily. Apparently once they hit puberty hormones can improve their bowels too so should be able to drop the laxative then. Good luck x
