great video, but what you said about the Navajo was wrong. Navajo women could operate in male roles/gender(s). the Navajo, despite being egalitarian, recognized 4 distinct genders.

What irritates women is being expected to constantly validate trans women’s feelings while our own feelings, boundaries, and observations get dismissed as “hate” or “TERF.” If someone was born and raised male, then yes, they experienced male privilege and male socialization at some point — that doesn’t magically disappear because it makes people uncomfortable to acknowledge. And it feels unfair when women are expected to adjust our language, spaces, comfort, and reality for everybody else while women STILL barely get listened to ourselves. Especially when statistically men are the main threat to trans women, not cis women. A lot of women are just tired of feeling pressured to ignore what we observe and stay silent to protect other people’s feelings.

Why lie? Your recurring theme that they were "relegated to a lesser female status" is categorically false. All of these cultures celebrated these individuals. They held highly regarded positions including royal advisors and army generals. Indian texts celebrate them as heroes. Hawaiins built monuments of them. How exactly does this play into the hierarchy and control that you claim? You claim " There is no opportunity for women to change their gender"? Samoans had/have Fa' Afatama or fourth gender. Navajo's (matriarchy) had/have Nadleehi. The Haudenosaunee, Khasi, Minangkabau - all matriarchies with female to male beliefs. The idea that these "categories" were created to push men out becuase they didn't fit the "man box or "macho box " is laughable. Masculinity is a modern invention. You are correct though that these cultures did not believe that anyone was "born in the wrong body". That is a modern interpretation. They believed that the Creator made their physical body exactly the way it was supposed to be, but their internal soul or spirit was the opposite. That is exactly what a transgender individual experiences, the mismatch between the biological sex and internal identity While their explanation is spiritual and our modern explanation is medical it's still the same. Hey, I love your videos and I am definetly gc and radfem, but I wanna correct you - in the balkans there was a tradition for women to "become men" socially. You should look into it - "balkan sworn virgins" - definetly still based on female exclusion and patriarchy, but interesting none the less. Sending you love from Bulgaria!

Hello, can you please give your opinion Blaire White, and extremely passing trans woman (man) who agrees he is a biological male, and says he identifies to the label of “trans woman.” I know you’ll simplify it by saying something like “he’s still violating our boundaries.” I love and agree with your content btw.
