i accidentally delayed my own proposal by about 15 minutes because i refused to release a bag of doritos. my group of friends around all knew and were just awkwardly standing around while i ate doritos and my fiance stood in the spot he was going to propose in.

Not my proposal, but my brother’s (which I got to watch because it was at the restaurant I work at) I was serving them at my family was at the other table and he was so nervous he asked for the shrimp (he’s deathly allergic to shrimp) and then when it was time to do the actual proposal, he forgot with the word marry was so instead of “do you want to marry me?”, it was “ DO YOU WANT ME?”
