@uncover.quantum: The ladder with its bottom touching the table falls faster than the one in free fall due to rotational acceleration. Here’s why: 1.Impact and Rotation: When the bottom rungs strike the table, an impact force is generated, causing the ladder to rotate around its center of mass. 2.Tension Forces: As the ladder rotates, tension in the connecting ropes pulls the top portion downward, further accelerating its fall. 3.Energy Transfer: The impact at the bottom converts into rotational kinetic energy, which contributes to the increased downward acceleration of the top of the ladder. This combination of rotational effects and tension results in the ladder on the table falling faster.
The tension in the shorter strings start to 'pull' on ladder B accelorating the steps while A is still in free fall

The angled steps increase the speed of the ladder over the table by transferring the energy of impact of the leading end into a force PULLING the lagging end down to the table.

Because it keep pulling the strings on the side every time a stick hit that ground

Veritasium contents are cool.
The answer is, when you drop a stick with 1 end falling early(tilted), when it hit the table, the one end bounces and the other gets pulled down. you can try it at home, if you drop a stick it could spin.
the answer is that when the stick try to spin, it pulls on the string. increasing its speed a little bit.

Bc when the ladder hits the table in an angle like that, the shorter end of the string gets pulled more than the long
