@helloandre: Replying to @married to success It is a good practice to ground your panels. Use 10mm (8 AWG) or 16mm (6 AWG) wires for grounding. Some installers uses 4mm or 6mm. Based on my research 10mm (8 AWG) is best. Grounding solar panels is important for several key reasons: Safety from electrical faults, If insulation fails or wiring gets damaged, an ungrounded system can make the panel frames become energized with dangerous voltage. Grounding provides a safe path for fault current to flow, tripping breakers and cutting power before someone gets electrocuted. Lightning and surge protection; Grounding dissipates energy from nearby lightning strikes and voltage surges, protecting both the equipment and the structure they’re mounted on. #solar #helloandre #solarsystem #diyproject
You can buy a grounding clamp. It bites into the metal. And buy the clamps that bite into the metal too

Hello Andre, did you ever test to see whether it’s worth buying bifacial panels vs Monofacial panels especially when installing on slab roofs

Lindsay's Electrical/Solar Co. :
evening, great work however the inverter should be grounded separately from ur solar panels. just piunt to consider. hence u don't want a fault from panel end up hitting ur inverter
