As a teacher, I’ve only been paid once a month for my whole 33 year career. It’s the only way I know how to do it. I don’t think I could adapt to every two weeks.

in UK it's monthly. And I think that's true of most countries. You know they get paid 14 months' pay? They get an extra month of pay in summer to help pay for the family holiday. And again before Xmas to help pay for the festive season
